You Want Fries With That?

I adore fries... even the McDonald's fries, which are deep fried in a gluten infested fryer. They're the perfect, salty snack to satiate that craving!
However, they are rife with the sodium and fat that come with saturating the fries in oil and that's not good for our diets.
How can we still have delicious, craving-filling fries without the frying them fatty?

Bake 'em!

You Want Fries With That?
3 large red-skinned potatoes, washed, cut into rectangular pieces (you can peel them if you wish)
2 tbsp. canola oil
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion salt (remember it's onion salt)
pinch of pepper

Heat oven to 400F. Place oil, garlic powder, onion salt, and pepper into a medium- sized bowl. Toss potatoes in oil mixture until thoroughly covered and then put fries onto medium-sized cookie sheet, spreading them out evenly.
